STAYING SAFE WHILE RIDING
AXON RIDE SAFETY
Axon Consumer Safety & Use Guide
Electric motorcycles and e-bikes are high-performance machines and must be used responsibly. Misuse or improper setup may result in damage, serious injury, or even death. Please review and follow all the guidelines below before installing or operating any Axon product.
1. Safe Riding Practices
-
Riding safely begins with preparation and good judgment.
-
Ride within your ability
-
Only operate your bike in conditions and at speeds that match your personal skill level.
-
Perform checks before every ride Inspect the bike carefully before setting off. Make sure all bolts and fasteners are secure, both brakes are working properly, and that no error codes are displayed on the controller.
-
If you see any warning or error, do not ride — contact Axon Support immediately.
-
Wear protective gear
-
Always use a certified helmet. Gloves and protective clothing are highly recommended for added safety.
-
Respond to issues during a ride
-
If a fault or error occurs while riding, stop immediately and assess the situation. If you are unsure how to proceed, reach out to a qualified technician, or our support team for help.
2. Product Inspection and Installation
-
When you receive your Axon motor or controller, take the time to inspect it thoroughly:
-
Visual Inspection - Check the unit for any physical damage or manufacturing defects before installation. If you discover anything unusual that could affect safety or function, do not install the product. Contact us right away.
-
Installation Responsibility - Installing a controller or motor requires mechanical knowledge and
familiarity with electric systems. If you are not confident in your ability to perform the installation correctly, we recommend having the product installed by a professional bike mechanic or qualified
technician.
-
Incorrect installation - Axon is not liable for any damage, malfunction, or injury resulting from
improper installation or failure to follow the setup instructions provided.
If you have any questions about installation, contact us at info@axon.racing
before attempting to fit the equipment.
3. Maintenance and Reliability
Like any high-performance vehicle, bikes using Axon products require routine care:
-
Do not ride if something feels wrong
-
If you suspect a fault, improper installation, or any mechanical issue, stop riding immediately. Have the bike inspected by a professional or contact our support team.
-
Ongoing maintenance - Follow the maintenance schedule provided by your bike manufacturer.
-
Keep your bike in safe working condition. Neglecting care can lead to failure, injury, or void your warranty.
You are responsible for the condition and safety of your vehicle.
4. Legal Compliance
-
Axon equipment may be used legally on public roads or off-road where permitted by local laws. It is your duty to ensure you're complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your area.
-
Laws may restrict things like:
-
