OUR DASHBOARD
The Axon App dashboard is full of useful information. We have made an effort to display all of the telemetry data that you need while you are riding and have also included some very useful and interesting graphical representations. These include the following key indicators:
1) Speed which is displayed in either miles per hour or kilometres per hour.
2) Power in Kilowatts.
3) Motor RPM.
4) Battery voltage.
5) Controller temperature which can display both Celsius and Fahrenheit.
6) Motor temperature which can display both Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Below these options we have also included data collection graphs that will populate with data during the ride while your app is open. These include the following options;
1) Torque in Newton Meters showing both requested and delivered.
2) Kilowatts vs motor RPM.
3) Voltage drop (also known as sag) from your battery pack...
4) Voltage vs DC amps.
At the bottom of the dashboard we have also included the power setting in Kilowatts that you have selected for each power mode on the controller. The power profile mode is also displayed as D1, D2 and D3 for the three editable power modes you can choose from. Finally your Regen braking strength is also displayed.

Ride Modes
The Axon Phase 1000 Controller comes as standard with three fully adjustable power modes where you have the option to tweak the following settings.
1) Max Power in KW - adjustable via a slider or manual input allowing the user to have three variable power levels between modes.
2) Max Motor Torque (Phase amps) - adjustable via slider or manual input allowing independent torque levels for each Ride mode.
3) RPM Limiter - Limit your motor RPM to achieve your desired maximum. Useful for speed limiting.
4) Regen Braking Adjustment (In Amps). Adjust the feeling of the regen braking to your desired levels independently for each Ride mode.

BIKE SET UP OPTIONS
BATTERY SETTINGS
1) Adjust your continuous battery discharge setting in amps. Adjust according to manufacturers specifications.
2) Adjust the burst discharge level for your battery in amps according to your battery specification. This allows you to use our boost feature.
3) Adjust the peak battery discharge duration (burst duration) for your battery to within the maximum burst duration of your battery. e.g. if your battery has a 10 second burst set this value to below this to ensure you do not get a BMS cut out.

CONTROLLER SETTINGS
CONTROLLER SETTINGS
The controller setup menu includes the following options...
Coasting Regen . This option will allow you to enable or disable coasting regen. This option applies motor braking when you release the throttle of your bike. You can enable, or disable this along with adjusting the strength of the regen braking in newton meters.
Start up Gear....This option allows you to dictate whether your bike is set to drive when you turn it on. The default setting for this is Neutral. Changing gear is achieved by pressing one of the function switches provided, or on your standard Ultra Bee function switch.
The next option is field weakening. This is adjustable on a slider to the required level. You can also manually enter a value by tapping on the value denoted at the side of this option. Field weakening is a technique used to increase the speed of an electric motor beyond its nominal speed by reducing the magnetic field strength, which allows the motor to operate at higher speeds (with a trade-off of reduced torque).
The final option is reverse speed. This allows you to dictate the RPM of the motor when the reverse options is triggered by holding one of the function switches on your handlebars.
When you have finished editing these values please remember to hit the save button to confirm the changes.

MOTOR SETTINGS
MOTOR SETTINGS
The motor set up options are very simple and include motor direction, which can be changed from clockwise to counter clockwise. In addition to this we have an option to recalibrate your motor, using the motor calibration process.
To recalibrate your motor just follow the steps in the app and make sure you have your bike raised off of the ground as the back wheel will spin during the process.

BIKE SETTINGS
BIKE SETTINGS
The final settings options are for the Bike. The options here include the following.
Sensor options:
Brake Sensors - Enable or disable the brake sensor. When this is set to enabled the motor is disabled when the brake is pulled.
Kickstand Sensor - When this function is enabled the bike will not go into drive mode and the throttle will not function when the kick stand is down.
Fall Sensor - When enabled power will cut off when the bike falls over and a power cycle of the bike will be required.
Speedometer Settings
The Axon app allows your to calibrate your speedometer settings by editing the gearing for your bike to the correct specifications. There are multiple options to do this including standard or custom gear ratios, rear sprocket size and wheel diameters. This will allow the display on your bike to give you an accurate speed reading.

THROTTLE SETTINGS
THROTTLE ADJUSTMENT
The Axon Phase 1000 Controller allows the user to easily customize the feel of the throttle response for their bike.
We have two different levels of customization available allowing for all styles of riding and applications.
Standard mode allows you to customize the shape of the throttle curve while the advanced mode allows you to custom how the bike pulls off the line, as well as its acceleration through the RPM range.
You also have the ability to change the curve of the regen braking to suit your taste and requirements.
These adjustments work on a simple slider and allow for very easy and immediate customization of the feel of your bike while riding.
