AXON PHASE CONTROLLER INSTALLATION TIPS
DO NOT RUSH!
Please allow yourself a good amount of time to install your Axon product. Do not rush the process as the will inevitably cause some problems with pinched wires, or something fitted incorrectly. By taking your time and going through our videos guides you may save yourself and a lot of time trying to troubleshoot.
TOOLS
For the installation of our products please ensure that you are using the correct tools for the job. A good set of allen / hex keys is a must to ensure that you are able to secure the products correctly. We will not take any responsibility for products, or bolts that are damaged from using the incorrect tools for fitting.
SAFETY
Be responsible. You are installing an upgrade product to an electric motorcycle. If you do not have the requisite experience, or knowledge to do so please seek the help of a professional. Motorcycles can be dangerous and even more so if they are not installed correctly. Understand your own personal ability and act accordinlgy.

The Axon controller harness video below is a walkthrough of our bike harness for the Talaria Sting. We also offer the same guide for other bikes that we support. You can find these on the main installation pages. In this video we will break down where each connector will go during your installation process. We also provide an information graphic which is below the video to aid your installation process. Please make sure you watch these videos prior to installing and refer to them when you need to during the installation process. You may be left with some spare connectors on your bike depending on which version it is. Please just tape these up and ignore them. Follow the connections on both videos and you should have no problems with incorrect installation.

The image below outlines the numbering system used and where each of the connectors are used on the Axon controller harness. When you receive your Axon controller your harness will have numbers assigned to each connector as per the information below. HOW THE FUNCTION SWICTHES WORK FOR THE TALARIA STING AND WHAT MODES ARE AVAILABLE
The Axon function switches have are linked to a number of different functions and ride modes. Below you will see information on what each button does and how to activate.

TOP BUTTON
Short press - Toggle hill hold. Will only engage in drive mode.
3 second press - Activates or deactivates coasting regen braking when you come off of the throttle.
Long Press 7 Seconds - Activate Gyro Mode.
RIGHT BUTTON
Short press - Power mode down.
LEFT BUTTON
Short press - Power mode up.
Long press - Toggle walk mode great for when you need some help pushing the bike.
BOTTOM BUTTON
Short press - switch between drive and neutral
Press & hold - Activates reverse mode. Continue holding for reverse and release for normal drive mode.
